Dreaming of Denim

It’s easy to get stuck in a rut when it comes to shopping for jeans. We choose the fit and style that we’re used to and we’re afraid to switch it up! Where are our skinny jean lovers at? We’re lookin’ at you! Here’s your sign and a little encouragement to step out of that box because we have plenty of styles to choose from and we would love to help you shop.

Straight Up Jean

Black denim is a staple wardrobe piece that everyone should own. We love a cropped jean that hits right at the ankle to show off your favorite pair of sneakers or booties. This style is high rise and straight cut. We love the added detail of the distressed ankle hemline and seam down the front of each pant leg.

Lake City Jean

Introducing the perfect light wash that will transition you perfectly into spring and summer. Here is another straight leg finish that is super high rise. This style is still slender around the hips and thighs to hug you in all the right places. Another cropped jean to show off your shoes, but all the details lie in the designer tearing and destruction along the panel of the jean.

Moving onto a more relaxed fit, we have a dad jean for you. You may be thinking you read a typo, but this is not the mom jean we heard all about from Gen Z in 2020. The main difference between a mom and a dad jean is how wide or tapered the leg is. Dad jeans are more relaxed and straight rather than tapered like a mom jean. This dad jean has rips at the knees and the straight leg falls past the ankle.

1999 Jean

Let’s party like it’s 1999! We’re throwing it back to a 90s inspired look that you have to try just because the denim is so comfortable. This pair of jeans is made primarily of organic and recycled cotton which makes every pair look authentically vintage. The fabric is mostly rigid, but yields to your body in all the right ways. You may think you have to wear a sneaker with a relaxed fit, but we love dressing up a straight leg jean with a cute bootie, too!

Line is Blue Jean

Our favorite brand of skinny jeans, but with a flare! We love this brand for the simple fact that they make their jeans with comfort in mind. These are so stretchy that you can go down a size! We love this medium wash, deep blue color because it can pair with any color top. These babies are on the longer side for you tall ladies, but don’t be deterred if you aren’t tall because you can throw on a heel and still rock it.

Rosa Flare Jean

This light wash flare is the ideal option for those who want a mid-rise option. Here is another comfort stretch denim that you can wear all day. The distressing and tears are all localized on the seams, so you won’t have to worry about them continuing to fray as you wash and wear them. Throw on a cowboy boot as pictured and head to your favorite country concert.

All of our denim is sure to turn heads and have people ask, "where'd you get those from?" We love when your answer gets to be, "Oh, these? I got them from Elysian!" Shop any of these styles linked above or head into our store: we can't wait to see you!
